Sophie Wilmès is a Belgian politician. She has served as Prime Minister of Belgium, since 27 October, 2019. She was previously Minister of Budget, from 1 October 2015, to 27 October, 2019.
She is the daughter of Bernadette (Grange) and Philippe Wilmès. Her father was a banker and professor of business, who was chief of staff to Jean Gol of the Liberal Reformist Party.
Prime Minister Wilmès is married to Australian rules footballer and businessman Chris Stone. She has a son from a previous relationship; and three children with Chris.
