Steven Adler is an American musician. He is mostly known as a former drummer for rock band Guns N’ Roses.
He is the son of an Italian-American (Catholic) father, Michael “Mike” Coletti, and a Jewish mother, Deanna. “Adler” is his stepfather’s surname.
Steven’s paternal grandfather was Tony Coletti.
Steven’s maternal grandmother (“Big Lilly”) was a Polish Jewish immigrant from Warsaw, who moved to U.S. in 1939. She lost all her relatives in Holocaust.
Steven attended Bancroft Junior High School in California, where he met future Guns N’ Roses member Slash.
