Niels Schneider is a French and Canadian actor. Niels is the son of Isabelle Schneider, a model, and Jean-Paul Schneider, an actor. He is the brother of actors Vadim Schneider, Aliocha Schneider, Vassili Schneider, and Volodia Schneider. Aliocha and Volodia are also musicians. He was raised partly in Québec, Canada, and is a French and Canadian citizen.
Niels has a son with his partner, Belgian actress Virginie Efira.
