Judith Godrèche is a French actress and author. Her roles include the films The 15 Year Old Girl, The Disenchanted, which she also co-wrote; Ridicule (1996), The Man in the Iron Mask (1998), Entropy, South Kensington, Speak to Me of Love, L’Auberge espagnole, and The Overnight, and the show Royal Pains.

Judith is the daughter of Marie José Deslis, a child therapist, and Alain Godrèche/Goldreich, a psychoanalyst. Her paternal grandparents were Holocaust survivors, whose families were from Poland and Russia. She has a son with her former husband, actor, film director, screenwriter, and producer Dany Boon; and a daughter with her former partner, actor and director Maurice Barthélémy.

Judith’s maternal grandfather was Joseph Charles Marie Maurice Deslis (the son of Jules Deslis and Maria Auché). Joseph was born in Tours, Indre-et-Loire, France. Jules was the son of Laurent Deslis and Joséphine Mélanie Riottot. Maria was the daughter of Etienne François Auché and Aglaé Descahé.

Judith’s maternal grandmother was Lucie Marie Denise Arnould (the daughter of Xavier Marie Pie Arnould and Lucie Marie Barbe Lavoix). Lucie was born in Douai, Nord, France. Xavier was the son of Emile Henri Nicolas Arnould and Marie Angèle Denise Franchet D’Espèrey. Lucie was the daughter of Jules Rodolphe Lavoix and Louise Félicie Cardon.
