David’s maternal grandparents were Abraham Meyer Lazar (the son of Sholom Lazar and Rose Pritikin) and Bessie/Betty Zagorsky (the daughter of Samuel J. Zagorsky and Sadie Briskin). Abraham was born in Ukraine. Bessie was born in Russia.
