Nick Kroll is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. Nick is the son of Lynn (Korda) and Jules B. Kroll, a businessman who founded the company Kroll, Inc., a corporate investigations and risk consulting firm.
Nick’s paternal grandfather was Herman A. Kroll (the son of Max Kroll and Mary Axelrod). Max and Mary were Russian Jewish immigrants.
Nick’s paternal grandmother was Florence “Flo” Yondorf (the daughter of Philip Yondorf and Mollie April). Philip was born in New York, to Joseph/Yosef Yondorf, an English Jewish immigrant, and Matilda/Malka, a German Jewish immigrant. Mollie’s parents, Bernhard/Benjamin April and Sarah, were Austrian Jewish immigrants.
Nick’s maternal grandparents were Eugene J. Kupferman/Korda (the son of Morris Kupferman and Yetta) and Celia W. Eugene was born in Austria, to Polish Jewish parents, from Tarnow, Poland. Morris was the son of Ascher Kupferman and Malka.
