Eric Kripke is an American television writer, director, and producer. He is most known for being the creator of CW television series Supernatural.
Eric is the son of Joan “Joanie” (Levy) and Lawrence “Larry” W. Kripke. Eric’s parents are both Jewish.
Eric’s paternal grandfather was Sherwin Kripke (the son of Maurice Kripke and Celia Vine). Sherwin was born in Michigan, to a father from Poland and a mother from Michigan, whose own parents hailed from Poland.
Eric’s paternal grandmother was Naomi Cousin (the daughter of Isadore Cousin and Lillian/Lilly Greenspoon). Naomi was born in Ohio, to parents from Russia.
