Danielle Steel is an American novelist.
Danielle has five children with her former husband, John Traina. She is also the mother of late singer Nick Traina, who died in 1997, from her relationship with William George Toth.
Danielle is the daughter of Norma (da Câmara Stone dos Reis) and John Schuelein/Schülein-Steel. Danielle’s father was a German Jew. Danielle’s mother was born in Massachusetts, of Portuguese, as well as some English, descent.
